David's Friends - 2002 Photos

This is just the start of a photo gallery of David's friends at the track.  
Here's Mike McCann, an experienced SRF driver, on his scooter at Road America.  
  Bob Chapman, driver of SRF car 49, is all-around nice guy. And he has his own web site, www.specracerdirect.com. I hear these web sites are all the rage now. 

 
  Kris Szekeres, Car 26, a newer SRF driver with Brent Waltz, who drives Car 11, obviously enjoying their time at the 2002 RunOffs. 

Brent stayed up half the night at IRP a few years ago helping David rebuild his car after a very nasty crash into a cement barrier.
   

Chris and Jen were the official Racerdave crew at the runoffs. Note the Racerdave logo on their shirts. Chris is currently in a tie for the CenDiv Champ series championship. And Jen is the best mechanic-cook-lap counter-umbrella babe in SCCA.
   

In case you can't see the name, this is Brian Kennedy Car 94. Another all around nice guy. 
 

Like the new trailer for Computer's Plus? It has all you could ever need...kitchen, shower, restroom facilities and a lift to hold three SRF cars. It will really be handy for the next racing season.  
 

This is Tonis.  He's amazed at the cool new trailer (see above photo). However, he isn't sure who to believe...is it really Brian's trailer and rig, David's trailer and rig....don't think too hard Tonis. 

Tonis was a Runoffs champion in 2000, driving Formula Continental. He currently races in the US F2000 pro series.

 

This is a photo of two Daves, David Kennedy on the left and David Watson, on the right. Obviously, they are at impound so it's podium finishes for both of them. Dave Kennedy has been out of racing for sometime, but came back to do the season-ending National races at BlackHawk. He finished ahead of Dave in one race and behind him in the other. I know it's confusing, check the results. 
 
 

This is a photo of David's trailer. Unanimously voted by all the SRF drivers as the cleanest trailer in the paddock. You could eat off the floor--not that David would let you.
