The podium for the last Rennen Race, on the left, Brian Kennedy, Car 94, who took 3rd place, in the middle, your winner, David Watson, Car 83 and finally, Bill Douglas, Car 7, who took 2nd. 

Brian Kennedy, Car 94, showing that he is also a "mudder". Brian actually had an early off-track incident and then drove his way back to third place during the second race of the Rennen!  

Another person who really stuck it out in the rain, Theresa Ziemer, Car 3. And while Theresa was concentrating on driving, Ruben played chauffeur, offering many people, including the web mistress rides at the track on that cool new golf cart.   

This is a photo of David during the first qualifying session. New drivers: Note the head turn, Dave is looking where he wants to go, not where he is! 

While hard to see, this is Dave getting the checkered flag in the first race. Dave mentioned that had a hard time seeing the checker during the race as it was thrown a tad late...so here it is! (It's probably because he was moving so fast...they had a hard time seeing him.)

And here it is, glorious impound, where every driver wants to be. Once at impound, the SCCA officials check the fuel and the engine to be sure no tampering has been done! David was joined at impound by his friend, Mike McCann, Car 38. Mike has said he's getting too old for this...yet he gets another podium finish? Maybe he has some more races left after all.
